Mother nature has been the ideal resource for discovering and resourcing natural materials to attribute to the creation of my sculptures.
As an artist, I look for the creativity in almost everything that mother nature provides. The shapes of rocks and stones are just like snowflakes... no two are ever the same, so as individual pieces of art in their own right, what better way to be incorporated as inspiration.
“A sculptor is a person who is interested in the shape of things, a poet in words, a musician by sounds.”
Every artist requires a medium to work with, and from. I find that the never-ending supply of natural resources, such as rocks and stones, form the character and personality of the completed piece, and allows the observer to discover their own interpretation of how the art-form speaks to them.

Shape and form
Figurative form is a widely interpreted method of art, especially when it comes to sculptures, so rocks and stones are perfect for not just shape formulation, but when combined with materials such as clay, gives birth to new creations.
