Using marker pens is a great way to for me to create art as it's a very familiar medium for me, mostly because of my graphic design background, as I’ve used marker pens to visualise designs for advertising campaigns, and because of this, I'm very comfortable with using them.
Marker pens are also great to use as a medium because there's no drying time required, so they're less messy and a great way to apply color to paper.
Sharpie and other marker pens also reproduce well and can be applied with other media to create prints with.
